Kylie Minogue To Save 'The Voice UK'
Kylie Minogue and Cheryl Cole have apparently been drafted in by The Voice to boost ratings, after the BBC1 show saw another slump in viewers last weekend.
According to The Sun, the Girls Aloud babe and Minogue will perform on the semi-final and final on 26th May and 2nd June in a bid to attract audiences after ratings plummeted by another two million.
The newspaper claims all four judges could face the boot - despite Sir Tom Jones' recent boasts that himself, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and Will.I.Am would be returning for the next series.
The Mirror has also reported that producers are planning to approach Adele to sing on the show, with a BBC insider telling the newspaper: "We’ve just signed Kylie this week and Cheryl is going to perform her new single in a massive exclusive for the show.
“We are also contacting a number of other huge stars, such as singer Adele, to add more quality to the show."
They added: "ITV have already shown it’s dog-eat-dog by moving Britain’s Got Talent around the schedules aggressively, so we have got to hit back as hard as we possibly can.”
Kylie Minogue and Cheryl Cole will perform during The Voice UK's semi-final results show, it has been confirmed! The BBC has now announced that the pair will sing during the semi-final results show on Sunday, May 27, stating: "It is the eliminations again and this time there is more at stake than ever... a place in The Voice UK live final. Eight artists remain, but only one artist from each team will make it through.
