Kylie Minogue to be Honoured with Courage Award in LA

Another Award for Our Girl!...

Kylie Minogue will be honoured before an A-List Hollywood crowd next month for her public crusade against breast cancer.

The Entertainment Industry Foundation's (EIF) Women's Cancer Research Fund, which boasts Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg as honorary chairs, announced Minogue, a breast cancer survivor, will accept the 2013 Courage Award "for her fight against breast cancer and dedication to raising awareness for the disease".

The all-star event, titled An Unforgettable Evening, will be held at the Beverly-Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on May 2.

It will be hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler while Grammy Award-winning singer Bruno Mars will perform.

The Nat King Cole Award will be presented to fashion designer Carolina Herrera for her charitable works and contributions to the EIF Women's Cancer Research Fund.

The event marks the 16th anniversary of the Women's Cancer Research Fund which continues to raise support for innovative cancer research.

The fund supports innovative research, education and outreach directed at the development of more effective approaches to the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all women's cancers.
