Kylie Will Perform On "Elite Model Look" Final

The Australian pop princess will perform an exclusive set accompanied by Chinese star musicians as she opens the World Final next Tuesday 12/6 in Shanghai, China.
EXCITING NEWS! Today we can announce that singer and icon Kylie Minogue will lead the musical line-up for the forthcoming Elite Model Look World Final. Since she started out in 1987 with her catchy hit ‘Locomotion’, Kylie has rarely been off the airwaves, and with the help of stylist William Baker, she’s become a fashion icon in her own right. (You only have to think of the storm caused by a certain pair of gold hot pants she wore during the video for ‘Spinning Around’.)
Kylie’s set, which follows hot on the heels of her landmark ‘Aphrodite’ tour, will get the Elite Model Look World Final off to an exhilarating start with a medley comprising ‘Slow’ (Chemical Brothers remix) and ‘Come Into My World’. Like the venue – the spaceship-like 18,000-capacity Mercedes Benz Arena, which hosted Expo 2010 – the style cue is futuristic. Kylie, in monochrome, will be accompanied by 12 dancers in metallic cone headpieces set at a jaunty angle.
Just after the contestants get whittled down to 7 ‘lucky’ finalists, Kylie will return for a completely original jazz take on ‘I Should Be So Lucky’, accompanied by pianist Yundi, and top local jazz musicians. The vibe is going to be sleek and seductive - with Kylie wearing a full-length transparent black dress with a silver crystal corset underneath.
