Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue landed in Johannesburg on Thursday morning, and was given a special early-morning welcome by the Soweto Gospel Choir.
The singer, who is set to play five shows in South Africa as part of her Aphrodite-Les Folies World Tour, tweeted a picture of herself and the choir with the caption "My welcome to South Africa!!!!!".
The All The Lovers hitmaker is set to play three shows at Sun City Superbowl on 8, 9 and 10 July 2011 before moving to the Grand Arena at Cape Town's Grand West on 13 and 14 July.
The world tour started on 19 February in Denmark and will play in arenas throughout Europe and Japan before hitting Canada, US, and Mexico.
The tour is in support of Kylie's latest album, Aphrodite, which was released in July 2010. It became Kylie's fifth number one album in the UK, hitting the top spot a full 22 years to the week since her debut album Kylie entered the chart.
