Kylie Minogue to Perform In Los Angeles

In its 11th year, the G'day LA gala and associated events will be held next month in Los Angeles.

It's a celebration of the excellence and success of Australians in the US. The events also promote tourism and help develop business and nurture cultural ties.

It's been announced that Kylie Minogue will perform at the Qantas Spirit of Australia party on Wednesday January 8th.

It's the third annual cocktail party where VIPS, celebrities and superstars gather as a prelude to the Saturday night gala.

Last year, Keith Urban performed an acoustic set for the appreciative crowd at the Qantas Spirit of Australia party. The singer invited an originally reluctant John Travolta on stage to sing a few lines of the Beatles classic Yesterday.

Guests last year included Liam Hemsworth, Anthony La Paglia and Callan Mcauliffe.

"The event is about showcasing the best of Australia to a global audience, which is what Kylie has been doing successfully for a long time," says a Qantas spokeswoman.

Who knows which celebrity guest will be invited to duet with iconic performer Kylie Minogue next month?
