Good luck with the transition back to the Bay Area. I'm a Bay Area boy myself, living out in PHX. I miss home dearly but it's only a two-hour flight. Thank you for your work on the blog. Perhaps when you return to it, it will be with an announcement of an American tour. :-)

well, kiss me once has been officially available for a couple of days now here in australia, and loving it... at first i thought it wasn't very cohesive as a project, but having re-ordered the track-list and creating my own version of the album (adding "skirt" and "limpido") it really works.

favorite song so far is "mr president". it's quirky and seems out-of-place, yet by its very nature, it's what actually ties the whole album together. i'm so glad she recorded this, and can imagine that it will work really well live, with some high-tech lighting and effects.

good luck to you with everything - can't wait till you come back on a regular basis... love, love, love your blog ;)
