Kylie Minogue is gearing up for another homecoming tour. And this time, she's bringing Giorgio Moroder with her.
According to a statement from promoters Frontier Touring, Moroder will play a DJ set at each Kylie show next month. He'll line-up "select cuts from an impressive discography featuring some of the biggest names in music." The Italian disco great, who Kylie describes as a "perfect partner in crime," could choose to spin only his own tunes and still come up with a cracking show. The legendary producer and songwriter has worked with a galaxy of big stars, from Donna Summer to David Bowie, Blondie and Freddie Mercury and, of course, Kylie on "Right Here, Right Now," the lead single from Moroder's forthcoming studio album, his first in 30 years.

Kylie's Kiss Me Once tour will play arenas in the big five cities, beginning March 14 at Perth Arena and coming to a close March 21 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. It's been almost four years since the Australian pop legend's last national arena tour Down Under.
Also joining Kylie on the Kiss Me Once tour will be Betty Who, a Sydney-born singer/songwriter who has enjoyed support slots for Katy Perry and Kiesza.
Giorgio Moroder to Release First Studio Album in Over 30 Years

Kiss Me Once opened at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart on its release last year, giving Kylie her fourth No. 1 in the country. Kylie's three other No. 1 albums were Light Years from 2000, Fever from 2001 and X from 2007. Kylie was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2011.

RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!
When Daft Punk kick-started a disco revival back in 2013 with 'Get Lucky', they also managed to awaken the Godfather of the genre, Giorgio Moroder, from his presumed retirement. After a few years of morning golf and crossword puzzles (his own admission!), the Italian producer was approached by three labels to work on a new album. Due out this spring, Moroder joined forces with disco's natural princess, Kylie Minogue, for the lead single; a cocktail of chewy synths, happy-clap beats and a euphoric chorus that shimmers brighter than Diana Ross's glitterball. The final result is a fabulous nod to the past, but with the clout to contend with modern-day floorfillers.
