Kylie Minogue Filmed A Video For Her Giorgio Moroder Track
Kylie Minogue shot a music video for her song on Giorgio Moroder’s new album.
Kylie Minogue got the internet buzzing yesterday (December 17) when one of her dancers let slip that she was recording a new video. Fans speculated that it was probably for a belated Kiss Me Once single (a deluxe version of the LP is on the way) or another visual for that surprise Kylie + Garibay EP. As it turns out, the pop icon filmed a clip for her upcoming Giorgio Moroder collaboration. I guess that makes it a firm candidate for the lead single?
“Started the day shooting for BCBG followed by a video shoot for @kylieminogue & @giorgiomoroder,” tweeted DJ TJ. He then added the hashtag: “#TodayWasAGoodDay.”
So there you have it. This is a pretty exciting development for the Aussie songbird. Giorgio’s new LP, the iconically-titled 74 Is The New 24, is a high-profile project featuring pop-dance luminaries like Britney Spears and Sia. Being singled out in that company is pretty special.

Kylie Minogue Is Featured On The New Giorgio Moroder Album
After a memorable collaboration with Daft Punk on 2013's Random Access Memories, electronic music legend Giorgio Moroder is back, releasing his first album of solo material in over 30 years.
74 Is the New 24 (Sony/RCA), announced today, is set to drop in spring 2015 and features a new batch of notable
collaborators including Britney Spears, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX, and more.
"Dance music doesn't care where you live," the 74-year-old Italian disco trailblazer said in a statement. "It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn't care how much money you make. It doesn't care if you're 74 or if you are 24 because...74 is the new 24!"
Earlier this year, Moroder issued the throbbing, nearly eight-minute "Giorgio's Theme," his first single in 20 years that is now available as the B-side to "74 Is the New 24" on iTunes.
In an interview with the Creators Project, the music producer credited Daft Punk with inspiring his return to music. Moroder collaborated with the masked French dance duo on their Grammy-winning Random Access Memories album, which came out last year. He also beamed about his recent collaborations with Sia, Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga. "At my age, in 2014, I was more than happy [to work with them]," he told Creators Project. "And now, between my collaborations and DJing, I love my second career."
Following his collaboration with Daft Punk, Moroder came back into the spotlight as a remixer. Since then, he has issued new mixes of songs by Donna Summer ("Love to Love You Baby"), Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett ("I Can't Give You Anything but Love") and Coldplay ("Midnight").
Moroder came to prominence in the Seventies as a key contributor to Donna Summer's hit singles like "I Feel Love," "Love to Love You Baby" and "Hot Stuff"; he and Summer won the Best Dance Recording Grammy in 1997 for their song, "Carry On." He also collaborated with Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Blondie, Cher, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie and others. Moroder is also known for his film scores, including Scarface and Midnight Express, and soundtrack song contributions (Flashdance's "Flashdance...What a Feeling," Top Gun's "Take My Breath Away") among others, for which he has received three Oscars, two Grammys and four Golden Globes.

Kylie and Dannii Minogue Cover 'Haper's Bazaar Australia' Together
WE SHOULD BE SO LUCKY.
A Wonderful Thing In Iconic Sibling Pop has happened: Kylie Minogue and Dannii Minogue — Australia’s two most important and fabulous exports of all time — have posed together once again, this time for the December cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia.
Yes. YES. ONE THOUSAND TIMES YES.
Not since their legendary 1999 lightly watersports and incest-themed Esquire UK cover shoot has this happened.
Hopefully, this will inspire both Queen Kylie to whip up a Kiss Me Once follow-up (preferably with Stuart Price) by next year and Queen Dannii to strap on a pair of Neon Nights stilettos and reassert her position on the throne as The Undisputed Queen Of Clubs©.

WATCH: Kylie Makes A Surprise Appearance On Flight Facilities' Debut LP
Kylie Minogue loves to keep us guessing. The pop icon delighted fans with surprise Kylie + Garibay EP, dropped a random (but awesome) cover of Kim Carnes‘ 1981 smash “Bette Davis Eyes” and now makes an unexpected cameo on Flight Facilities‘ debut LP Down To Earth. Yep, that’s her singing on a reprise of the Australian dance duo’s 2010 hit “Crave You”.
The flawless 46-year-old, who is currently touring the globe with her blockbuster Kiss Me Once tour, delivers a sultry a cappella intro to the Giselle Rosselli-voiced chill-out anthem. Flight Facilities tried to keep Kylie’s involvement under wraps (“it’s something that we’re really excited about but we didn’t want to be a gimmick,” the band said in a recent interview) but it’s arrived online and that voice is unmistakeable.

Can you spot all 29 artists

the BBC teamed up with?
The BBC took the meaning of the word “supergroup” to epic new heights with a TV spot that began airing on Tuesday (October 7) in which a variety of artists gather together to sing the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows.” The promo is related to an upcoming block of BBC Music programming.
The cover will also be released as a single to raise funds for the BBC’s Children In Need charity. The BBC pulled a similar move in 1997, releasing a version of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” featuring the voices of Elton John, Bono and Reed himself, among others, but I think that “God Only Knows” has that 17-year-old cover beat. I mean, not to get all Stefon from “SNL,” but this video has everyone.
Pharrell Williams? He’s in it. Kylie? She’s there, too. One Direction? You better believe it. In case you don't recognize all 29 acts in the video — and who would — here's a list of all of them, in order of their appearance:

Pharrell Williams
Emeli Sande
Elton John
Lorde
Chris Martin

iTunes Festival: Kylie Minogue's Timeless Set of Classics Proved Her Worth As One Of Pop's Greatest Icons
The pop queen smashed London's
Camden Roundhouse
Camden Roundhouse
by Adam Miller (entertainmentwise.com)
This year’s iTunes Festival has been an absolute ball from start to finish, and last night was no exception as it was the turn of Ms. Kylie Minogue to headline London’s Camden Roundhouse. Taking the night off from her Kiss Me Once arena tour to play one of her most modest gigs of her career was always going to be an unforgettable experience for die-hard Kylie fans, but even we couldn’t brace ourselves for what was in store.
Opening for the pint-sized pop star was man of the moment, MNEK who could not have provided a better start for the evening. Kicking off his set with Every Little Word, the rising star’s old-school soul had us all captivated from the first note. Honestly, we’re not sure that we’ve ever been so engaged by a support act ever. Honestly, ever. Following his miniature set which included a stunning rendition of the 2003 Lumidee smash Never Leave You (Uh Oh) as well as his Gorgon City Ibiza anthem Ready For Your Love, it seemed the audience almost forgot who they’d really come here to see.
For a crowd to be chanting: “We want more!” when Kylie Minogue is waiting in the wings really was the best possible testament to MNEK’s talents. The 19-year-old has already caught the attention of Madonna who’s recruited the teenager to work on her upcoming album, and we would bet our bottom dollar that a we’ll be flocking to see him in his very own headlining show at the festival next year.
And then came Kylie. For whatever reason, Kylie’s 12th studio album failed to set the charts alight. It certainly hasn’t been down to content, but even if she can’t shift albums she can still shift tickets as she embarks on another sold out arena tour, and last night’s electrifying show proved exactly why.
While her over 40’s peers continue to desperately chase the charts, Kylie remains ahead of the game by simply being Kylie and last night’s specatcle really was a masterclass in pop perfection from start to finish. With a setlist of hits which spanned nearly 30 years, Kylie’s back catalogue still managed somehow remain beautifully cohesive - a feat that not many other artists can boast.
Arriving sandwiched in between a suitably kinky pair of lips to open with Kiss Me Once album track Les Sex, followed by Calvin Harris penned banger Into My Arms and then 80s classic Step Back In Time, the diva from Down Under reminded us just why she’s remained so relevant for so long, which is simply just being really bloody great at being a pop star .
Classics including Love At First Sight, Wow, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and our personal favourite, Slow had the entire room in hysterics while the Aussie starlet’s set list crafted the perfect blend of hits and old and new. Other than the unnecessary five outfit changes which was just time that could have been put to better use, Kylie couldn’t really have put a foot wrong.
In her final ensemble of the night, a turquoise PVC skirt with matching bow-tie, the 46-year-old closed the night with her latest single Into The Blue before getting the 3,000 strong audience to do the Locomation to close – a fitting nod to her incredible timeline at the top.
You don’t catch Kylie in her 40s stripping off to brag about her ‘Booty’ and neither does she need to rely on guest spots from whatever young rapper is the flavour of month for us to stay interested. She’s camper than Christmas, and frankly she was the best gift we could have possibly asked for. To anyone who has tickets for this Autumn’s Kiss Me Once tour, you're in for a treat. To those of you who don’t, do something about it immediately!
